About Us

As the name of our office suggests, we are focused on two main areas of support for the Stanford professoriate.  Our focus in faculty development ranges from writing workshops to briefings for department chairs about important developments around the University.  We host an annual workshop with the Provost to discuss with untenured faculty, the process of tenure and promotion at the University.  Our efforts include the Provostial postdoctoral fellowship program.  Faculty engagement entails activities to build a sense of community and we work with a variety of different faculty groups to facilitate these connections.
