Stanford Emeriti/ae Community

The Stanford Emeriti/ae Community consists of emeriti/ae faculty and emeriti/ae staff from across the University, as well as the spouses or partners of living or deceased emeriti/ae. They have contributed to Stanford's excellence over many years and strive to remain engaged with their colleagues and the University.

The Stanford Emeriti/ae Council is a representative group of up to sixteen emeriti/ae faculty and emeriti/ae staff from across the university.  The Council is supported by the Provost and the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement.  Formed in 2002, the Council seeks opportunities for continued emeriti/ae service to Stanford, fosters community among emeriti/ae retirees and their spouses or significant others, and advocates on their collective behalf within the university.
