The Office of Faculty Development, Diversity and Engagement will host several writing programs in spring/summer 2022.

Setting Yourself Up for Successful Summer Writing
May 19, 2022 - 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Sign up for a virtual workshop, Setting Yourself Up for Successful Summer Writing, led by Professor Helen Sword, author of numerous books on writing, including Air & Light & Time & Space How Successful Academics Write and Stylish Academic Writing. This workshop will help you prepare for a summer of productive writing using the habits of successful writers (behavioral, artisanal, social and emotional) and develop your own customized blueprint for building a more productive writing practice from the ground up.

Virtual Faculty Writing Groups
June 20 through August 20 (for varied durations)

There is also the opportunity to participate in small virtual Faculty Writing Groups that meet via Zoom with a productivity coach for one hour per week for the duration of the group. These groups will run between June 20 and August 20 for varied durations.  Please indicate your interest in these via the link below and you will receive an email indicating the dates and coaches available.

One-on-One Coaching Sessions

We are also offering virtual one-on-one coaching sessions to improve writing productivity with Dr. David Rasch again this summer.  Participants may sign up for 1-3 individual coaching sessions, paid for by the Office of Faculty Development, Diversity and Engagement.
