By invitation (all women faculty members are welcome to attend). Please RSVP email@example.com by January 17.
We, the leaders of the Faculty Women’s Forum, recognize the additional challenges of those who experience dual minority status within our community, increased requests for service and mentoring, the need to regularly navigate stereotypes and related biases, unintended or otherwise, and the challenges of rarely finding a critical mass of those who share multiple aspects of identity and culture.
This gathering will provide an opportunity for women of color on our faculty to meet one another, network, engage in discussion with allies and advocates, and provide suggestions for future programs.
fwf.stanford.edu – The Stanford Faculty Women's Forum (FWF) provides information and organizes events to promote the success of women faculty at Stanford, with opportunities for women faculty across the University to discuss shared interests and concerns. The FWF is supported through the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity.
