SMAC's goal is for disability advocacy to be a priority when striving to improve human diversity and equality.

Stanford Medicine Abilities Coalition 

The Stanford Medicine Abilities Coalition (SMAC) fosters and advocates for the equal treatment and well-being of all students, trainees, faculty and staff at Stanford Medicine, regardless of their physical or cognitive differences. SMAC promotes collaboration between people who are passionate about disability at Stanford Medicine, and advocates for accessibility, resources and disability services, above and beyond that required by law. Ultimately, SMAC's goal is for disability advocacy to be a priority when striving to improve human diversity and equality.

SMAC Disabilities Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC)

The SMAC Disabilities Patient & Family Advisory Council (DPFAC) Initiative includes patients, caregivers, and staff who will collaborate on the improvement of access and experience for patients and caregivers with disabilities at Stanford Health Care.
