The Stanford Faculty Staff Housing Office offers a variety of programs to enable faculty to purchase homes. Check this website to find out the eligibility requirements for using their programs, and to subscribe to the campus homes-for-sale list. Stanford West Apartments

Community Housing Services provides rental listings of available room, apartments, cottages, houses, condominums, and temporary rentals in the communities surrounding Stanford. They also provide an interactive atlas enabling you to locate property or purchase a map of the local area. [NOTE: Access to the database for housing searches is restricted to current Stanford students, faculty, staff, and visiting scholars and researchers. Worklife
The WorkLife Office is dedicated to helping faculty members achieve a comfortable balance in their work, study, personal and family lives. The services offered include childcare resources and referrals (including emergency child care programs, and the childcare subsidy grant program), elder care, and other parenting resources.

Counseling Services
The Stanford Help Center provides professional, confidential, brief counseling to the faculty of Stanford University. Spouses, domestic partners, and children under 21 are also eligible for these services. The Help Center offers an extensive range of services: individual, couple, and family counseling; workshops; and peer support groups. All Help Center services are offered free of charge and are completely confidential.

Stanford Federal Credit Union
Stanford Federal Credit Union is a financial institution which is owned and operated by more than 40,000 members of the Stanford Community. Since its charter in 1959, the mission of Stanford Federal Credit Union (SFCU) has been to fulfill the financial needs of the Stanford Community. Because it is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution, members have a direct impact on how the Credit Union operates.

Stanford Lively Arts brings to campus a series of world-class events in music, dance and theatre.

The Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts. For an exhibit schedule, information on its collections, hours and more, visit the Cantor Center for Visual Arts website.

Stanford Report is a weekly newspaper of interest to faculty and staff, providing news on campus activities and upcoming events. The Stanford Report is available online.

Stanford Insitute for Creatvity and the Arts
San Francisco Arts and Entertainment. This online version of San Francisco Arts Monthly provides comprehensive monthly listings of the arts and cultural events to be found in the San Francisco area. It also includes links to the S.F. Opera, the S.F. Ballet and many museums.

San Jose Arts and Entertainment. On the City of San Jose website, you'll find places to visit, performances to enjoy, sporting events to attend, festivals to celebrate, and more.

Films. The Online Palo Alto Weekly offers a weekly updated list of movie times, reviews and theater locations in Palo Alto and the surrounding communities

Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) also gives tours.
Stanford Medical Center also has a variety of lectures and presentations.
Museums. There are many museums both at Stanford and in the surrounding communities.
